Kate Myers
Caring for pets is what I was built for.
When I was 23, I began my professional career as education assistant for a small shelter in Oregon. For the next 40 years, I honed my skills with pets and people: working as animal control officer in California; Shelter Community Information Director in Utah; Animal Control Director and Executive Director for a regional Humane Association for Washington State. I ran a consulting company, Only Humane, focusing on planning, communications and mental fitness for animal shelter workers.
During this journey, I received my MA Psychology and PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
In 2008 I retired to Boulder and became a PET NANNY, providing full-time overnight exclusive care in your home. I have no pets and am retired so my focus is completely on yours. Read more about my philosophy and process on my ‘What I Do’ page.
